Who are we?

SPARKS RETREATS is a website created by San Yo 3.0 BV,  the private company with offices in the Hague, registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce.

Personal data is collected through our website SPARKS RETREATS and cookies are placed. Privacy is of great importance to San Yo 3.0 BV (hereinafter: San Yo 3.0). We therefore adhere to privacy legislation. This means that your data is safe with us and that we use it properly. In this privacy statement we explain what we do at San Yo 3.0 with the information we learn about you through our services.

What do we use this data for?

We process your personal data for the following purposes: – providing access to our website – using the functionalities on our website – entering into and executing agreements regarding the bookings made on our website – conducting conversations via the chat option offered on our website – contacting you, if requested – contacting you before, during or after your trip with regard to the current trip or if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement that you have concluded with us or for a new trip – gaining insight into the use of our website – improving and evaluating our website and services, including through customer satisfaction surveys – mapping our target group and associated interests, including to  make the internet offering more interesting for you by showing relevant advertising that matches your interests via both our website and third-party websites – sending you (one of) our general and/or personalized newsletters if you have registered for this

By participating in our retreats, you consent to use your photo,  image, and video in promotional materials, including website, flyers, promo campaigns, and digital marketing on the SparksRetreats platform and associated media. We will not process your personal data for purposes other than those mentioned above, unless you have given prior permission for this, this is necessary in the context of the agreement we have entered into with you, we have a legitimate reason for this, or we do this on permitted by law or

What data do we process?

We use the following data for the purposes mentioned in this privacy and cookie statement: – Name and address details – Date of birth – Nationality – Country – Gender – E-mail address – Telephone number – Customer number – Information about the trip you have booked (such as departure date, duration of stay, accommodation data, flight data, traveler data, transport information – Information about the last holiday you viewed and/or stated travel preference – IP address – Cookie IDs – Device data – Payment data – Any personal data entered by you as the content of a message, for example via the chat function, the contact form, social media, competition registration forms or feedback tools – Any relevant medical personal data provided by you when booking a trip, including, for example, allergies, dietary preferences or physical discomfort

How long does San Yo 3.0 store your data

San Yo 3.0 does not store your data longer than necessary and never longer than legally permitted. How long certain data is kept depends on the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is processed.

Do we provide data to third parties?

We do not unnecessarily provide your data to third parties without your prior consent unless this is necessary in the context of the execution of the agreement, we have a legitimate interest in this or we must or may do so by law. We can provide your data to the following companies that process this data on our behalf: – External IT service providers – Application suppliers – The parties that supply cookies 

In addition, we can also provide your data to third parties, who independently determine how they will handle your data. We do not influence the use of your data by these parties, as they determine for what purpose they need it and to whom they provide it.

Which emails can I receive?

We send various emails. These emails are split into two topics, namely service messages and newsletters.

Service messages

These emails are only to inform you about important changes or updates related to the services you have purchased from us. These include, for example, changes to your booking, important additional travel information, changes to our terms and conditions or the travel conditions.

Newsletters

If you have given us prior permission, we will keep you informed of our offers, promotions and various types of services through our newsletters. We compile the newsletters based on your personal data, such as your previous orders.

 If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, please unsubscribe.  If you are unable to unsubscribe, please send an email to contact@sparksretreats.com and we will process this for you.

How is your data secured?

We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data. In this way, we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to your data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are regularly checked. In addition, we use SSL certificates for the secure transfer of your data and communication and we only store your password in hashed form.

What are your rights

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, you have a number of privacy rights with regard to your data and its processing. In this privacy statement we have already provided more information about how we handle your privacy.

Below is a summary of the rights that apply according to the GDPR: – Inspection: You can always request your own (personal) data. If you want to view the personal data that we have recorded about you, you can request access; – Changes: If you want to make changes, improve or supplement the personal data that you have accessed in response to a request for access and that you cannot change yourself in your account, you can submit a request to San Yo 3.0 ; – Delete: If you wish, we will delete your personal data at your request. In some cases we cannot (yet) grant this, because, for example, the personal data are still necessary for the execution of the agreement or necessary purposes described by us for which we have collected them. If necessary, you can request us to limit processing in the meantime; – Limiting processing: You also have the right, under certain conditions, to request San Yo 3.0 to limit the processing of your personal data. – Right to object: If certain processing takes place on the basis of the ‘legitimate interest’ of San Yo 3.0 or a third party, you have the right to object to that processing; – Data transfer: You have the right to obtain your personal data from San Yo 3.0. San Yo 3.0 will provide this in a structured and commonly used machine-readable form, such as CSV, which can easily be opened in other common digital systems. In this way you can also transfer your data to another provider; – Withdraw consent: In all cases where the basis for certain data processing is your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. This has no consequences for the past, but does mean that we are no longer allowed to process that data. As a result, San Yo 3.0 may no longer be able to provide you with certain services.

Please ensure that you always clearly indicate and demonstrate who you are, so that we can be sure that we do not change or delete data from the wrong person. For example, we may ask you for your customer number to check whether it is really you. We will let you know within one month whether we will comply with your request, and we will try to process this within one month. If your request is very complex, we may need additional time to fulfill the request and will notify you of this.

This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that are connected to our website through links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of these websites before using these websites.
